Panther leu includes previously extinct populations in Central Africa, West Africa (West African or Senegal Lion), India (Asian Lion) and Southeastern Europe, the Middle East, the Arabian Peninsula and the Southwest. The Asia Panther leu Milanochita includes the lion population of Southern Africa (Katanga lion and Southeast African lion) and East Africa (Masai lion and Ethiopian lion).

How many big lions are there?
According to the Smithsonian National Zoo,
African tigers can range in length from 9 to 10 feet (3 m) from head to tail,
with tails about 2 to 3 feet long (60 to 91 cm). They typically weigh between
330 to 550 pounds (150 to 250 kg), and are men who reach this height.
Ashtik lions (also called Asian, or Indian lions) are slightly smaller than African lions. According to the World Wildlife Federation (WWF), they are 6.6 to 9.2 feet (2 to 2.8 meters) tall from head to tail and weigh between 242 to 418 pounds (110 to 190 kilograms).

Average length (head to tail) : 2.4 m — 2.9 m
Average weight : 180 kg — 260 kg
Note that male lions are biologically much more extensible than females, so that, they can reach a much heavier weight (maximum weight).

Lions are wild animals that belong to the Felden family of Panther (like other large cats) and are given a special name, Panther leu. They all live in parts of sub-Saharan Africa and Eurasia. Lions are usually carnivores who hunt at night and during the day, and especially eat their food. They also eat zebras, young elephants and rhinos, giraffes and other food when given the opportunity. Lions are called the “king of the jungle” because of their appearance, raw power and strength and individual social structures. The average lion is 10 to 14 years old, but can live up to 20 years in captivity.
Distribution of Lions:
Africa:
In Africa, the heavily populated regions, along with the Austrian rains, and the southern coast of the western part of the subcontinent, live in sub-Saharan Africa. Lions are generally known to grow with acacia trees in dry grasslands where they grow in their surroundings. However, in the southwestern part of Africa, there are unique desert lions that have been trained to cope with the harsh climate of the Namib Desert in Namibia. Most of Africa's wild lions live in East African countries such as Kenya and Tanzania, as well as South African countries such as South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia.

Eurasia:
Earlier, lions were widespread in Eurasia, especially in southern Eurasia, from Greece to India. But due to the growing human population and interference, these species are shrinking and in danger of extinction. Surviving lions in Eurasia live in and around the fallen forests of northwestern India. Located in the state of Gujarat, the 545.1762 square mile Black Stone is home to about 500 lions, covering most of the forest. The habitat of the Indian lion is a mixture of dry savanna forest, and very dry scrub forest.

Hunting:
African lions prey on large animals such as
Harley, zebras, dacoits, rhinos, hippos, and wild beasts. Asian lions also prey
on large animals, including buffalo, goats, nilgai (a large Asian deer), chital
and samba (two species of deer). According to the Smithsonian National Zoo,
lions can kill animals up to a thousand pounds, but will also hunt small
animals such as rats and birds when the opportunity arises.
Women are the biggest hunters of pride, and work collaboratively in hunting groups to surround themselves and hunt. According to the Lion Habitat Ranch, a lion sanctuary in Nevada, lions can walk up to 50 miles per hour (80 kilometers per hour) and jump up to 36 feet (11 meters) for short distances. According to the ALERT, to bring down the prey, lions jump on the backs of very large animals, but they use, "ankle taps”, which means that they reach their claws and hunt. Swipe the legs to move them forward, according to the alert. To kill their prey, animals use their powerful jaws to snatch or strangle animals.
Occasionally, prey engages in action, especially if the prey is very large, such as an elephant or water buffalo. Otherwise, the man's main job is to protect his pride. According to Carnegie researchers, lonely African men hide in ambush plants.
Lions hunt at night, and often roam around water holes, streams, and rivers, as these areas are the center of hunting. According to Alert, lions will also talk nonsense, and will not hesitate to kill other predators to steal or eat survivors.

Mating and raising young:
According to ALERT, male lions reach sexual
maturity at the age of two but are unlikely to breed before the age of 4 or 5
when they will be large enough to be proud. Can take advantage of,
and they have the rights to breed. Men over the age of 16 can still
produce sperm, but usually lose their right to meet once they can't fight young
men. The male African lions who are trying to capture a pride will kill
everyone to avoid competition.

Most female lions give birthed by the
time they are 4 years old. The gestation period for lions is about four months.
Women will keep their young men away from others, and hide them for the first
six weeks of life. At birth, the cub weighs only 2 to 4 pounds. (0.9 to 1.8 kg),
according to Animal Corner, and they are totally dependent on their mother.
All the females in a pride will mate at around the same time. After the first six weeks of rearing cubs alone, the mother and cubs will rejoin the pride. Other females in the pride will contribute to raising all of their pride's young, and will even nurse other mothers, ' cubs, according to the San Diego Zoo.
